Our first Thanksgiving in our house turned out pretty well. Of course not without some hitches but I still hope everyone enjoyed themselves and I think that everyone including myself stuffed themselves on very yummy and colorful food. Including our farm’s blue potatoes, they were a first for most people. Brian and I had painted our dining room for the occasion and were excited to use the leaf in our new table to host 8 people for Thanksgiving. My Mother and Don as well as my Grandparents and my friend Lyn from work along with her son Griffin. Brian and I also decided to break out his grandmother’s china and crystal for the occasion. It was fun pretending to be fancy for a day. And what a beautiful day it was too! I am really enjoying this warm fall weather.
I am also thankful to everyone for coming and sharing our Thanksgiving with us. And hope that everyone else’s turned out wonderful too.
I wish I had more photos but it was a busy day and all I had was my phone camera unfortunately. But I know some of you wanted to see the new dining room and such so here is what I got.

Recognized the china and crystal immediately. It made Dale and me so happy to see it on your table. Mom (Brian’s grandmother) would be so please that you are using it. Hope you had a happy one.
